Psalm 31, 32 Devotional

As I read Psalms 31 and 32, a couple thoughts came to my mind:
1) I love the faith and lessons that are reinforced:  God rewards those who seek Him and put their trust in Him!!
2) The Psalms should be proof enough to us that fear of repetition should not hold us back from fellowship or intimate fellowship with God.  Does the Psalmist hold back?  I think NOT at all.  Rather the Psalmist enjoys openly expressing his mind and heart with the Father, and so should we!  After-all, it is the Father's design and desire, that we be in close fellowship with Him.  That is why He sent His Son....

Psalm 31
23 O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.
24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.

Psalm 32
10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about.
11 Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

Have you committed to memory a verse from Psalms to remind you of His love?  Putting it in text on a mirror, on a wall, on your refrigerator.... even in your car or purse, might help you to focus on His goodness, and could be a witness for others as well.  Have you spoken to the young people, or children in your life, about the truths that are evident in Psalms?

Dear Father in Heaven, I thank you for Your LOVE, mercy, grace, for Jesus, and for giving us a chance to belong to you through adoption, and for preparing good things for us.  Thank you that we can have HOPE in you for this life, and life eternal.  Thank you for preparing a place for us in paradise!  Show me who You would like for me to share some Psalm wisdom with, and lead me to be a witness that brings glory and honor to You. In Jesus's name I pray, amen.
