Psalms 7 and 8
From the Psalmist's heart, believed to be David, these works demonstrate FAITH, RELATIONSHIP, TRUST, and WORSHIP. Oh yes, that we should all so seek and trust the Lord, even at times when we feel pursued or victimized by our enemy, and then to offer praise and worship for the mighty awesomeness that we know our heavenly Father is, always and forever:
Did you remember the Psalms, the last time you felt pursued and vulnerable before your enemy? How might our forefathers in faith be an encouragement to us? Did you remember that when you yourself feel that you lack words to glorify the Father, that the in the Psalms, some great worship words are provided?
Dear Father in Heaven, it is easier to talk about trust and live out trust, in the good and easy times. When an enemy is in pursuit, help me to live uprightly before YOU and to in good conscience, seek justice before you, and to never forget that you are worthy of praise and worship. Everything GOOD comes from You. All glory and honor to You Father. In Jesus's name I pray, amen.
