Bad News Rock the Boat?

Bad news?

Do you let it rock your boat?

Do you let it toss you around like a storm?

Aren't God's truths the same no matter what?

What choice do we have?

If you deny any of His word, then you de-credit it all.

I choose to BELIEVE.

Sometimes in the fog,
In the storm,
In the waves of life as it comes,

It is not easy to hang on to our  FAITH BOATS,

But YOU CHOOSE...

BELIEVE or NOT.

I choose BELIEVE,
And yet, not me, but His spirit in me...

What do I know?  What do I believe?

His WORD is inspired and Holy.
He rewards obedience.
He prepares a wonderful place for me.
He is a very ready and present HELP in times of trouble.
He will not leave me nor forsake me.

It is a blessing and privilege to know Him
...to serve Him
...walk with Him
...hide in His shadow
...be encouraged in my ride

This life is not always easy,
But it is much sweeter with Him by my side.

That we henceforth be no more children,  tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleigh of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Psalm 51:11
Cast not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all thins to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

In my Father's house are many mansions:  If it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.

The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

Hebrews 13:5
...I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Psalm 63:7
Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

Romans 1:5
By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for His name:

*I recall a survey of Leviticus and Numbers to reveal a theme of "obedience begats reward."

Thank you for letting me share.  May your HOPE be steady, calm, and bright, and may you hold on with all of your choice and might.  Sonshine be warm and bright on your path into eternity.

  1. Thank you, Tammy! I have been feeling a little wounded this week. Two relatives have bad things to say about our country now...and an old friend too. Kinda hit me with some heartache. Love the sunflowers too. They are a personal comfort for me. :)
