Poem To My Father
I have a pain that returns to me
It reminds me often
I need more of thee
More of Your wisdom
to know where to look
at TRUTH and LIFE
from our *Holy Book
In You through Christ
is ALL my HOPE,
To my FAITH
I will cling,
and manage to cope,
Knowing You will not give us
More than we can bear,*
My pains I have now,
Don't compare,
to the glory and riches*
That through Christ
We will share,
May I live*
To worship and THANK
YOU
For Your provision,
Love and care,
2 Timothy 3:16 (*1)
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
John 17:17 (*1)
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
John 1:1 (*1)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14 (*1)
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Romans 9:23 (*2)
And that he might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
Ephesians 1:18 (*2)
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling , and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
Romans 8:18 (*3)
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Romans 12:1 (*4)
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Seek His Sonshine, dear ones.
May His light warm and brighten your path.
