Strength from Weakness or Injury

There are many beautiful children of God, who have felt alone, assaulted, neglected and forgotten.

But they were not forgotten, and love was there..................

I am thinking of someone, who I know at times, has felt defeated, cut, hopeless.  She was cut at the core of her being.  People let her down.  In this path on barren earth, she was sinned against, and she also sinned.  Floods of unfriendly rushing waters, of insecurities, regret, mixed with hate and resentment, have beat against her.............. yet her roots just kept growing deeper.  She gained stronghold in the mighty foundation of fertile ground despite the raging floods that she endured.

The stormy flood waters subsided and she enjoyed the mild weather, warm sunny days, with white fluffy clouds and birds singing high in the sky and low on her branches.

God brought generations of life to dance around her feet and climb into her arms.

Slowly her core grew stronger, and her limbs grew in their shadow and realm of influence.

One day she noticed, that the injury of where she had been cut, actually gave her strength in the footing of what she knew to be true.  None of the floods from the past, mattered anymore.

Now, may she receive

that only to the creator God,

is she accountable for what she does do.

Only from Him

did her life blessings come from all along,

and in Jesus Christ, she can always have that-

hope and security to be at peace and STRONG,

No matter the floods,

the CUTS or Hurts,

With Christ as Lord and savior, in control,

You will NOT go wrong.

2 Samuel 22:23
God is my strength and power, And He makes my way perfect.

Be stronger and wiser everyday, precious one.

Jeremiah 17:8
For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

Be rich in fruit  and peace dear child of God.
Our troubles are but temporary (floods)

Our God, and His LOVE are eternal.

You are planted in Him, that you may drink of His life giving water and grow....

  1. I often wonder at the paradox that Christians who have suffered a lot also seem to be the strongest, sweetest folks you can find. Only God can do that: use what's meant to break and destroy one to forge the person into a tougher, better person. Halleluia!
