Identity in Christ; Growth Plan!

I have never been bell of the ball, most beautiful, charismatic, or sought after company.  In many social settings, I fade.  I am different, perhaps eccentric, but I am determined to GROW in 2019.  In so many ways, I determine to GROW.

Last year, my word for 2018 was COURAGE.
This year my word is GROWTH.
At Telling Hearts, I am publishing a series about the ways that I aim to grow in 2019.  I invite you to check it out!

Here is a sneak peek!

One if the ways that I aspire to grow in 2019 is in confidence and strength to be able to rest and enjoy life, knowing who I am as a child of the Most High God, regardless of where I am in the social strata or scheme of a large or small group.  Who I am in Jesus Christ, surpasses anything in meaning!

Can you relate?

I am engraved in His hand.
I am much loved, child of God,
Created in His Image!
Ambassador, with Christ living through me,
Focus of His commended LOVE,
His masterpiece creation,
Created to do good works,
Stake holder in Heaven,
By His mercy and Grace,
Called to His glory,
Destined to be restored,
How will I measure my growth in understanding my identity?
I will aim to memorize these scriptures:

(KJV unless otherwise noted)
Genesis 1:27 ...God created man in his own image...male and female...
Jeremiah 31:3 ...I have loved thee with an everlasting love
John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
1 Peter 1:18-19...redeemed with the precious blood of Christ, as a lamb without blemish and without spot.
2 Corinthians 5:20 ...we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
Ephesians 2:10  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Philippians 3:20  For our conversation is in Heaven from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 5:10 (my paraphrase) God of all grace, called us unto eternal glory by Christ Jesus, and after a while, will PERFECT and STRENGTHEN me/you who are His.
Isaiah 49:16 ...I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands...

Do you have any goals for growth in the new year?  I'd really like to hear about it in the comments below.
